Our History
Mutual Int’l Forwarding Inc. was founded in March 1969, as a family owned and operated company.
We continue to this day as a family-run company, enabling the Principal’s to maintain a “Hands-On” and intimate involvement in the day-to-day running of the business. This assures a 24-hours-a-day, 7 days-a-week, 52 weeks-a-year direct accessibility to an owner’s personal attention if or when the situation warrants it.
The Firm is set up to operate as our Customers’ “In-House” agent, meaning that in addition to the usual tasks of freight forwarding, we are able to assist in meeting any other needs they might have related to the successful fulfillment of their own obligations. (Such additional needs might be “service oriented”, i.e. help in properly preparing their own documentation – commercial invoices, packing lists, various certificates – or “hardware oriented” viz. purchasing containers, packaging, supplies, etc).
Notwithstanding the fact that we are a small Company by today’s mega-measured standards, the efficiency and competence of our work on behalf of our clients gives us a clear advantage over much larger competitors; whereas they usually provide faceless, impersonal and (more often than not) “nonchalant” service, we are able to afford focused and individual “shipment-specific” attention to all the clients need’s.

Not being contracted to any particular Shipping company or Airline, we are free to negotiate, and practically always obtain the lowest rates to the needed destinations; this enables our clients to keep their transportation cost at the most advantageous level.
